About Us

 
Deerfield Lake Association - We are located in Strongsville, Ohio. Our association is a planned recreation community with 502 beautiful single family homes of various size and style with the majority being built sometime in the 1970s - 1980s. 
 
Recreation Facilities – Our development offers a variety of recreational amenities including a professionally managed swimming pool with lifeguard surveillance, two playgrounds, two fully stocked ponds with walking trails and fishing permitted for authorized residents, a private clubhouse available for party rental, and three tennis courts. Most of our recreational amenities are monitored by 24/7 camera surveillance with updated technology as of 2023. 
 
Accessibility – It is easy commuting into, out of, and within Deerfield Lake. You can enter or exit our development directly utilizing any of the following directions listed below: 
Misty Lake Road – exits North to Drake Road
Golden Star Drive – exits East to Howe Road
Falmouth Drive – exits East to Howe Road
Acacia Drive– exits East to Howe Road
Cottonwood Trail - exists South to Boston Road

SouthPark Mall, Costco, Giant Eagle, other retail and casual/fine dining –  varies from 5 to10 minutes
I-71 – 10 minutes
I-80 Turnpike – under 15 minutes
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport – 20 minutes
Downtown Cleveland – 30 minutes
 
Strongsville City School District:
The district serves more than 5,600 students and consists of one preschool, five elementary schools (grades K-5), one middle school (grades 6-8) and one high school (grades 9-12).
If attending public school, our homeowner's young children attend Kinsner Elementary School. It is located a short 0.5 miles away westward down either Drake or Boston road. It is Strongsville’s most recently built elementary school.  Children of Kinsner feed into Strongsville Middle School, then Strongsville High School. Social Committee - We have organized a DLHOA Social Committe allowing homeowners to join or simply have input in helping to organize fun and creative events throughout the year. The committee is currently managed by Jillian Cameron. If you have a suggestion for future events or wish to participate in the committee you can email vicepresident@deerfieldlakehoa.com. Include "Social Committee" in the subject line so that your email may be forwarded on to the correct committee leader. Trash Collection & Recycling - Collection of rubbish and recyclables is done by Republic Waste. Please see the Collection Schedule Page for the collection schedule.
